For some travelling on a plane is a joyful experience but for some it can be a big pain. But all of us had to go through this pain as there is say that ‘gain comes after pain’. Below tips will help you to fight the in-flight sicknesses and uneasy feelings.

Avoid Alcohol

Some of you might be thinking that free Booze is a perk of International flights(‘Why will i leave it?’), But you should also know with the advantage of free alcohol there a side-effect also. alcohol slows down our metabolism making it harder for our body to absorb less oxygen.So if you have breathing problem you should always follow these tip for travelling on plane and avoid alcohol.

Keep Hydrated and Moisturized

When you are in air at high altitude air humidity decreases because of the aircraft’s filtration system—which takes in outside air and circulates it in the cabin. Low humidity means that moisture evaporates from the body quickly, which can lead to dehydration. Also when the air is dry, your throat become less effective at fighting out viruses and bacteria, so you may be more susceptible to illness. So a very useful tip for travelling on plane is to keep yourself well hydrated. As per the Aerospace medical association  you should drink about eight ounces of water for every hour you’re in the air. Similar way you should keep your skin and eyes also hydrated by using moisturizer and eye drops

Walk Around the Cabin

If your flight is for long hours then it is better to keep moving around and also prefer doing the recommended in-seat exercises(Toe Raises, Ankle Rolls, Neck Rolls, Shoulder Rolls etc…) in order to reduce the swelling in your lower leg.

Drink Bottled Beverages

As per Scientific researchers a very important tip for travelling on plane is not to drink open open or stale water. You should also avoid tea or coffee if it is open or not bottled. As the stale or open water may contain bacteria or it can be pathogens also which can cause disease. Scientist always advise airline passengers to never drink water aboard an airplane unless it’s sealed in a bottle. That includes coffee/tea/juices.

Keep Yourself Clean

Always keep your hands cleaned when travelling in airplane, always use face masks and sanitize your hands to avoid the spread of germs. One useful tip for travelling on plane suggested by researchers is to avoid washing your hands in the bathrooms. Use hand sanitizer instead.

Relieve Sinus Pressure

Some of you might have sinus problem as it is very common now a days. Relieve pressure by swallow hard, chewing gum, sucking on candy, and breathing with your mouth open. A useful tip for travelling on plane keeping Decongestants or nasal drops will be very helpful also it is allowed inside cabin.
